Sarah! What a girl. Loves to cook and bake... but mostly bake. And she loves to eat her master pieces, along with the rest of her family. Sarah, by choice, is simple and yet very beautiful. You might catch her dressing up in a fancy dress that royalty from Cesky Krumlov would wear. She's love sick for all the boys in her class... ok just one, but it's a secret.

6 Days
Ben likes... you guessed it cars. Cars and bikes and girls. The kiss and ride sign is a legit sign at the train station here in Vienna. We even found a kiss and ride sign at a train station in Germany. So while we don't know what it exactly means it gave us a good laugh. To have seen Eric, is to have seen Ben. They are both incredibly handsomely rugged, simply dashing and very strong. 6 more days and Ben can again look into the mirror of his older bother.

Our land lord is Heber Ferraz-Leite; he's a renown brain surgeon. Logan's on track to follow in his foot steps. Logan's also a pretty good artist. He's also part of two choirs and some how got his name on the back of this Renault. The smoke in the choir picture is from the incense that they were burning during the church service.

Eric's oldest brother Jordan is married to Breanne. They have two kids: Verona(3) and Maximus(1). Verona shares her father's admiration for the Bugatti Veyron. Max is the man, a little man, but the Man -- chiseled jaw, broad shoulders, and the courage to conquer all evil. Breanne is a master pianist, and she can sing too!
Breanne, you should have been there. Ludovico Einaudi really tickled that ivory.

Katherine and I learned ourselves about Michael Angelo. After seeing all
of his work in the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museums, and all over Florence,
we really were intrigued by the fellow. What he accomplished blows my mind. Look him up and get yourself learned like Katherine and I. It'll tickle your brain.

Wednesday Lunch
I came home from class today and Katherine had made me a delicious Four Cheese Pasta. It was quite a nice surprise to come home to. She stalled me a little bit by having me go to the grocery store before going home, and when I got there she was finishing her last touches on the fantastic lunch. Katherine is wonderful.

Day One of Strategic Management
E:
German--not so much my thing. Strategic Management -- what a refreshment to be able to follow and understand what’s going on. My teacher is quite entertaining, a life saver for the fact that the class is almost a 4th of a whole day... 5 hours.

During
the lecture, the professor asked, “Who is Porsche’s competition?” He
got responses like Ferrari and BMW. Since I spent a summer listening to
CBC radio, I was able to apply my knowledge gained from The Age of
Persuasion with Terry O’Reilly. “Louis Vuitton,” I responded, “Porsche
competes with other luxury brands.” The demand isn’t transportation, but
for a status item. It just happens to be a car. The professor loved the
answer and proceeded on with that idea for a little while. I regained a
portion confidence lost from the German classes earlier this week.
A
quick note on the spiritual side: I prayed that I’d be able to get into
a good group for the group work part of the course. The answer to my
prayer came rather easily. Two of the native students came over to me
and another exchange student, whom I was sitting next to, and asked if
we wanted to be a group together. They seem to be the sort of students
that will be good to work with, and our group happens to have both
locals and exchange students. We also picked up one more exchange
student at the end of class who will be good.

Day Two of German Class
E:
The teacher speaks only German, which is tricky, and the class is 3 hours. So near the end I start to feel like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbs. All I’m hearing is waa wa waa wa... in an Austrian accent. I don’t know that I’ll ever learn German. I’m the only one in the class who knows only one language. I think that the kid from Lithuania knows 8 languages. I’ll keep at it and see what progress I can squeeze out of this class. It doesn’t count for credit and it’s free, so I’m not too worried about it.
